Frost Seafood House is a classic seafood restaurant that has been a Salter Path fixture since opening in 1956 as the Sinclair Gas Station and on-site “Sportsman Café.” Serving dinner, as well as breakfast and lunch in the summer months, the restaurant is a convenient destination to sample the abundance of seafood that’s found all along the Crystal Coast.

The seasonal breakfast menu has all the standards, including omelets, eggs, waffles, pancakes, and specialties like biscuits and gravy, or ribeye steak and eggs. The lunch and dinner menus are equally diverse, with a heavy focus on seafood, and a range of both smaller plates, like sandwiches and burgers, and larger entrees complete with southern side dishes. Seafood fans will find a wealth of steamed seafood, like crab legs and peel and eat shrimp, grilled fish, fried seafood entrees, sautéed seafood entrees, and combinations with options of shrimp, scallops and specialties like deviled crabs. The variety of seafood is what will impress hungry patrons, as well as the range of menu items which can suit visitors of all tastes and appetites.

Found in the heart of the Bogue Banks, and accessible to parties of all ages and sizes, Frost Seafood House is a decades-old institution that will still appease seafood lovers from all across the Crystal Coast.
