Strategies for getting the perfect Crystal Coast vacation property experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Crystal Coast attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

How to choose the perfect rental home in Atlantic Beach:

  • First and foremost, have your family commit to the best dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. 3 Minute walk to the ocean, Overlooks the pool!!! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Crystal Coast vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible online. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before reserving your rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • If there's a specific Crystal Coast beach you crave, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the host's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Note any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peace. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on great feedback to stimulate future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
