Atlantic Beach vacation rental booking tips:

How to get the best value:

  • In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Atlantic Beach. To find the best value, change your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Crystal Coast area visitor guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to select the perfect vacation rental in the Crystal Coast area:

  • First, have your family decide on date ranges and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Blue Marlin-Walk to The Atlantic Ocean, 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, contact the property management company before you reserve the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what is optimal for your family.
  • If your group is bringing pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Crystal Coast attraction you crave, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More tips for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • During check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers bothering your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
