• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
• Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance.
