About this Property

  • Sleeps 6
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 3 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 1800 square feet

This cavernous multi-level 1800 square foot home is just 75 yards from the beach. You will be astounded by the ocean vistas from nearly every window. Vistas from the decks are spectacular. Privacy of the protected sand dunes to the west makes this end-unit beach home a rare find.

Open concept kitchen, dining, and living room are on the upper level. There are ocean vistas from every angle. Living room sliding door opens to a huge upper deck. Also on the top level is a game room for the kids, laundry room and full bathroom with a tub. The living and game rooms each have flat screen HD TVs with Roku and WIFI included.

There are three bedrooms and two full baths on the lower level. Each bedroom has a TV with Roku. The master bedroom has ocean vistas, an en suite roomy bathroom with shower and soaker tub, and a sliding door walkout to sizable covered deck.

There is a unique courtyard just off of the decks with grass and palm trees, providing shady areas for relaxation and play. Multiple-car covered parking is under the unit, as well as a private hot water outside shower. There is also a covered picnic area with a gas grille for your use.

The beach can be accessed just across the shady courtyard ... no need to walk along the road. A beach-side playground with bathrooms and covered gazebo are steps from the ocean.

This unit is 1.5 miles east from the Morehead City bridge, so you can ride your bicycle or jog to the local stores and eateries. It is an painless walk along the beach to the Oceana pier to the west and Fort Macon State Park to the east. The new Atlantic Beach Skate Park and Mini-Golf complex is only a 6 min. drive (across from the Food Lion grocery store).

Strategies to get the best vacation home experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Crystal Coast area. Reserve your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guides contain discounts for local tours and attractions.

How to select the perfect vacation home in the Crystal Coast area:

  • Start by selecting your vacation dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. Spectacular Oceanfront Views, Shady Oasis at Your Backdoor has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available online. If not, email the host before you reserve the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Are you looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, note any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the rental manager immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of problems.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
