Enjoy an active outing that explores some of the prettiest stretches of the Pine Knoll Shores shoreline with this fundraising event that does a world of good for injured and fallen service men and women and their families. Kayak for the Warriors 5K and 1K Run / Walk is an engaging event that is open to participants of all abilities and ages, and which features an enticing course that huge the borders of the local Crystal Coast beaches.

The race kicks off on Saturday, May 25, which takes full advantage of the early summer weather that the Crystal Coast beaches are renowned for. All participants will receive a free T-shirt to mark the occasion, and the event features professional race timing for runners and joggers who want to test their abilities. The course begins along the beach near the Inn at Pine Knoll Shores, and proceeds west towards the neighboring community of Indian Beach, and runners, joggers, and casual walkers are all welcome to join in the action. As part of the Kayak for the Warriors all-encompassing event, this Saturday morning race is a great way to enjoy an active outing on the shoreline of the Crystal Coast while supporting a great cause.
