Beer fans will want to bring along their appetites for fantastic locally crafted brews and good eats when they attend the annual Mill Fest Homebrew Competition. Now in its second year, this already popular event features a friendly competition where patrons can enjoy being the judges of a host of locally crafted beers, and can eat, drink, and be merry while enjoying one of Beaufort’s newest destinations for good times, the Mill Fest Brewery.
The Mill Fest Homebrew Competition is open to all home brewers that have never sold or distributed to a brewery or brew pub, and who want to pit their own concoctions against other talented brewers from all across the region. Patrons will be free to try the many samples, and judging will begin at 3 p.m., with awards handed out at about 6 p.m. Along the way, patrons can enjoy plenty of casual food and delicious fare from area food trucks and other vendors, and can meet and mingle with fellow beer fans from all across the Crystal Coast and beyond. Fun for everyone with exceptional taste, the Mill Fest Homebrew Competition is a great way to discover all the cool flavors and libations of the Crystal Coast.
