Tips for getting the perfect Beaufort vacation rental experience:

Get the best rental home value:

  • The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summertime is high season in Beaufort. To book the best rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Crystal Coast attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Crystal Coast area visitor guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Filter your rental search:

  • Start by having your family commit to a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Beaufort Crystal Coast Cottage-Downtown & Pet Friendly has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible online. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve the property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what configuration is suitable for your group.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or may be applied to your agreement.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the rental manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to propel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
