2. Security Deposit - $750 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Country Club of the Crystal Coast and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway are also worth visiting.   • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses.
