About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is on the beach. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Triple S Marina and Anchorage Marina. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and scuba diving offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and cycling nearby.

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Crystal Coast attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses.   • Are you visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

During your stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of issues.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
  • During check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
