The Bluegrass, Bikes and BBQ combines music, food, and a fun bike ride through the heart of Morehead City in a full-day event that will appeal to anyone who loves a lively celebration along the Crystal Coast.
The event launches with a motorcycle ride that extends from New Bern to Morehead City, with plenty of cool views of the area waterfronts along the way. Once in Morehead City, the event really kicks off with amazing BBQ plates for attendees, a bike show with judging and prizes for winners, and a bluegrass concert with a special opening by Brooke McBride, and music by Volume Five. All proceeds from the Bluegrass, Bikes and BBQ go to support Brain Cancer research and trials, in the hope of finding a cure. With lots of fun in store, the Bluegrass, Bikes and BBQ is a great chance for bikers from all across the East Coast to discover this cool corner or coastal North Carolina.
