The Carolina Kite Festival, which is hosted by the local Kites Unlimited & Bird Stuff, has grown into a stellar and full-day event with hundreds of kites decorating the sky, and plenty of fun to go around.
The event is held in the town of Atlantic Beach which makes it a perfect and easy-to-access event for folks who are staying along the Crystal Coast shoreline. During the multiple-day celebration, the public can come out and experience plenty of high-flying fun, with more than 100 kites soaring through the air at any given time. In addition to the brightly hued overhead show over the Atlantic Beach coastline, the festival will also feature kite-flying demonstrations and kids’ activities, such as candy drops and kite building classes.
