Quickly becoming a favorite annual event for watersports fans, the Crystal Kai Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Cup is breezing into the Crystal Coast for a fun and challenging day of racing on the water. Held in the town of Beaufort, and featuring multiple courses and corresponding activities, this unique event is a crowd-pleasing day that beginning and advanced SUP fans will adore.

The Crystal Kai Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Cup takes place along Taylor Creek, which is located on the edges of downtown Beaufort, and which provides relatively easy terrain for sightseers. Spectators will also have a fine view of the action from virtually any perch along the creek, and can look on as paddlers of all skill levels compete for roughly $15,000 in cash prizes. There are two courses that paddlers can tackle – a 5k course and a longer 10k course – and the adjacent streets of Beaufort will be lined with a vendor village, as well as available clinics for newcomers and pros who want to up their game.
