Emerald Isle Marathon, Half-Marathon & 5K Races

Rapidly becoming a favorite tradition for active Crystal Coast visitors and locals alike, the Emerald Isle Marathon, Half-Marathon & 5K Races are a great opportunity for folks to discover the gorgeous communities and shorelines of Emerald Isle and beyond, while supporting a worthy local cause and enjoying a little competitive spirit in the heart of the Outer Banks.

The course covers the entirety of Emerald Isle and includes some incredible views of the area beaches and wooded neighborhoods, and the March date ensures that runners will enjoy a temperate climate throughout the event, as well as a beautiful and uncrowded landscape. Registration for all three races is open to the public, and all finishers receive medals and an event T-shirt. Providing a great way to see the town of Emerald Isle inside and out, the Emerald Isle Marathon, Half-Marathon & 5K Races are a popular annual event for runners everywhere.
