Set sail to the small town of Beaufort, NC for this engaging event where mariners can meet and mingle with their water loving colleagues. The Fall In-The-Water Meet is a fun gathering that’s wide open to experienced mariners and newcomers alike, and which features a host of fun activities including free boat rides a pig pickin’, and plenty of opportunities to learn all about life on the water in this small and charming town.

The Fall In-The-Water Meet is hosted by the Traditional Small Craft Association, and the event takes place at the Gallants Channel Docks, which is right on the edge of the heart of historic Beaufort, N.C. All small boats are welcome to join in the gathering, which includes a ticketed pig pickin’ for a big helping of local flavor. Free boat rides will be offered to the public throughout the morning’s festivities, and both mariners and everyday visitors who are strolling along the Beaufort waterfront are welcome to stop by, learn a little bit about the boats in attendance, and join in the fun. Serving as a celebration of the Down East and Crystal Coast’s legacy of maritime life, the Fall In-The-Water Meet is a great opportunity to enjoy a little time on the water with both new and old friends.
