Celebrate the season with a little bit of coastal style and history at this event that will brighten everybody’s holiday spirits. The annual Gallery of Trees celebrates its opening day on November 18, and patrons will enjoy a wealth of brightly decorated and wholly unique Christmas trees that showcase the culture and the Christmastime beauty of the Crystal Coast.
The event is held at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, which is a popular and famed attraction in the heart of the small community of Harkers Island. During this seasonal event, museum visitors will be able to peruse and admire a collection of Christmas trees - some crabpot, some old traditional, and all beautiful - that creatively tell the story of the Core Sound region, and its deep history and heritage. The event is free to attend, and folks are welcome to prolong their visit to enjoy all the unique exhibits and gifts that the museum has to offer. Combining local culture and seasonal celebrations, the Gallery of Trees is a delightful event that visitors of all ages will adore.
