Young residents and visitors who have always dreamed of charting their own course on their water can learn all about the basics of sailing and beyond at the summertime Junior Sailing Program. This day camp that is open to all children ages 8 and over will cover everything that young mariners need to know about two classes of sailboats, and is an immersive and fun way to discover a new skill while enjoying the open waters of Beaufort, N.C.

The Junior Sailing Program utilizes two classes of sailboats which are the most common classes for sailing and racing initiatives throughout the United States. Both morning and afternoon sessions are available, and over the course of multiple days, students will hone their skills on the basics of sailing, or can advance their already established skills. Partial scholarships may be available for prospective students, and the classes launch from the heart of Beaufort, N.C. which is well known for its world-class waters that are ideal for sailors of all abilities. With sunny June weather and the surrounding Crystal Coast waters serving as the classroom, the Junior Sailing Program is an exciting course that young mariners ages 8 and up will adore from start to finish.
