Found in the small town of Salter Path in the heart of the Crystal Coast, this acclaimed artist has a working studio as well as a small gallery of her works, which are readily available for art lovers to admire, and purchase, on an inspired trip off the beach.
Leni Newell has been a professional artist since 1986, and her unique works are a combination of mixed media and collage. A recipient of a Regional Artist Project Grant from The United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County, her innovative and award-winning works have been exhibited in galleries and museums all across the country. Lemi also hosts workshops in her studio, which are seasonally available for visiting and local students of all talents and skill levels. A cool spot for visitors to enjoy a slice of the Crystal Coast art scene, the Leni Newell Studios and Gallery is a fine sample of one of the region’s many creative and artistic talents.
