The Newport Halloween Hootenanny is held in the town of Newport, which is an inland community along the Crystal Coast that is easy to reach for visitors staying throughout the southern Outer Banks, from Harkers Island to Emerald Isle. During this popular event, attendees will enjoy a wealth of Halloween-themed fun, including more than 20 children’s games, a costume contest, hayrides, a petting zoo, a bouncy house, and so much more. Organizers will be serving free hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and drinks, and the event is free to attend.
