Rental home tips:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in Atlantic Beach. Book your rental property in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have discounts for local shops and restaurants.

Filter your search:

  • Start by selecting potential vacation weeks and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. 2 Br 2 Bath Condo Oceanfront Resort 2 Pools & Water Slide has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property management company before booking the home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your vacation group.
  • If there's a certain Crystal Coast beach you are crazy about, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.

Tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your .
  • Note any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of issues.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
