Head to the heart of downtown Beaufort for an annual East Egg Hunt that combines a little history and a ton of local charm. The BHA Annual Easter Egg Hunt has become a beloved event for locals and visitors alike, and features an extensive hunt in one of the prettiest spots along the Crystal Coast – the downtown Beaufort Historic Site.

The BHA Annual Easter Egg Hunt is hosted by the Beaufort Historic Site, with volunteers from the National Charity League, and is a free event that everyone in the family will adore. Starting at 11 a.m., kids ages 7 and under are invited to explore the Historic Site to search for eggs that are hidden throughout the grounds, and which are filled with candy and other treats. Parents can watch as the kids explore, and can meet and mingle with fellow attendees while enjoying light refreshments, which will be on hand. All families need to bring along to have fun is an Easter basket, as everything else – including the dozens and dozens of eggs – is already provided. A great way to kick off the Easter holiday, the BHA Annual Easter Egg Hunt is a treasured event that shines a spotlight on the beauty of downtown Beaufort.
