Double J Texas BBQ is a Texas-style barbecue joint that’s located in the heart of busy Havelock along US Highway 70. Featuring rich smoky flavors, the restaurant is known for its diversion from the traditional Eastern NC-style BBQ, and its wealth of overflowing southern dishes.
Most of the items on the meat-heavy menu are divided into small, large and extra-large portions, and are served with Texas toast and two sides, which makes them fine entrees for hungry patrons.
