Island Grille

Island Grille crab cakeDive into uniquely refined cuisine in an almost-oceanfront atmosphere with a visit to Island Grille. Located adjacent to the seashore in Atlantic Beach, Island Grille is a fine destination for a date night, an intimate celebration, or just a diverse sample of the Crystal Coasts’ unique southern and seafood-influenced culinary style.

The menu is vast and features a rotating selection of appetizers and salads, entrees, and homemade desserts, with seasonal entrees that make an appearance depending on what’s local and fresh. Time-tested favorites include the Maryland-style crab cakes, with plenty of crab meat and little filler, the shrimp and scallop grits, and the duck confit with savory cranberry and walnut bread pudding finished with orange gastrique. The desserts should never be overlooked, and are spearheaded by executive Chef Chris, who keeps local produce and seasonal flavors in mind. Past stand-out favorites include the Atlantic Beach lemon pie and decadent strawberry cheesecake, although every season brings a new wealth of options.
