The annual Veterans Day Parade in Morehead City is a time-honored tradition that honors the servicemen and women who have served their country. Located in the heart of the downtown area, and free and open to the public, this annual celebration is an event that visitors and locals alike won’t soon forget.

The Veterans Day Parade, which is hosted by the American Legion Morehead City, allows veterans, Veterans Service Organizations, individuals, and any other group/organization with connections to the military the opportunity to remember and to honor our nation's veterans who have proudly served the United States. The parade route takes place along Morehead City’s main street – Arendell Street – and extends from 17th Avenue to 5th Avenue in the heart of the downtown area. Parking is available at multiple public locations throughout the Morehead City downtown streets, allowing visitors throughout the Crystal Coast to attend and pay their respects to the veteran representatives marching in the ensuing parade. The event is free and open to the public, and more information about the American Legion Morehead City can be found online at https://americanlegionmhc.org/.
