Water Boggan

Vacationers who want to enjoy a family-friendly day of watery entertainment off the beach can head to Emerald Isle’s own water-themed amusement park, Water Boggan. Located in the heart of town, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the bridge to the beach, this favorite destination features a world of rides, slides, and other refreshing diversions that will surely keep everyone entertained.

The park is easy to spot along Reed Drive, and is a veritable complex with a host of water-themed activities for patrons of all ages. There’s a network of water slides, including two heart-stopping and almost vertical slides that splash down into a sparkling pool, and more relaxed slides where riders can easily cruise down to the sunny waters below. A number of the pools and rides are designed especially for kids in mind, ensuring that little ones of all ages can be accommodated, and there’s plenty of shaded and sunny seating throughout the park so that parents can relax and easily look on. With cool poolside lounging areas and on-site snack bars, everyone can enjoy a full day in the sun without ever stepping on sand. A favorite attraction for the young and young-at-heart, Water Boggan provides a whole new island adventure for water fans.
