Our top Rental home tips and tricks:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summer time is high season in Atlantic Beach. To find the best value, consider changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Crystal Coast visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain offers and deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Begin by choosing potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Atlantic Beach Resort-Ramada by Wyndham has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property management company before you book the property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Does your family require special amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .

During your stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • At Check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to inspire future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
