When you walk in the door, you will see this is not just a beach condo. It is also our family's beach home and you will find it so much more of a home than your standard beach rental! I have been visiting in Atlantic Beach for the past 30 years so please feel complimentary to ask any questions you have about the unit or area attractions. Prior to and during your stay, I will also be available by phone, text and e-mail to answer any questions you may have.

When you arrive at the condo, you will find suitcases carts and grocery shopping carts as well as an elevator to make moving into the condo simple and fast. There is a screened sitting area in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full size washer and dryer. The condo itself is newly painted and freshly decorated. Luxury plank floor throughout with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, completely equipped kitchen, separate wet bar, oceanfront screen porch off the living room and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom. The master has a King size bed with a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom along with a private half bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bunkbed and a Full size bed. The couch in the living room also pulls out into a full size bed. There is a enormous TV in the living room and TVs in all 3 Bedrooms as well as the kitchen bar area. All the TVs have cable as well as Roku sticks. WIFI is supplied. In the living room you will also find board games, playing cards, puzzles, DVDs, books, etc.

From the front door of our condo you are literally 30 seconds away from putting your toes on the beach!

At one end of our building is a picnic area with tables and charcoal grilles and at the other end is a swimming pool and gazebo overlooking the beach.

Underneath the condo is a storage room you will have access to which has beach chairs, umbrella, beach and pool toys, and outdoor games for the kids (and the grown up kids).

Directly across the street you have condo access to the pier and boatslips to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away.

About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is on the beach. Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Flatwaters Paddling are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and ecotours nearby.

How to get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Crystal Coast area. To find the best value, try shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
