Saturday to Saturday, 7 day units only during the season. Off season, please inquire about less than a week stay.
Check in after 4 pm, check out before 10 am. Cleaners are very prompt!
Linens and bath towels are supplied. Bring your own beach towels, beach equipment, and chairs. Beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and infant items may be rented locally. Ask property manager for info after booking to reserve them early.
Emerald Hideaway is pet friendly. Dogs only, no more than 2 per stay. Pet fee is per pet. Please add the 35.00 per nighttime pet fee at time of booking, or let the Property Manager know after booking so she can add it. Property Manager will need to add second pet fee, so please let her know after booking.
Pool may be heated for an additional $625. Contact your property manager, she will need at least a 24 hour notice.
All guests pay a 55.00 damage protection fee at time of booking. This covers you up to 1500.00, only if guests report the damages BEFORE CHECK OUT to property manager.
Elevator inside home runs to all 3 levels.
Parking: 4 cars can park inside under home, 6 cars comfortably in driveway.
Guests must be at least 25 years old to book this property.
No smoking allowed.

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Emerald Isle. To book the largest vacation home within budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Crystal Coast attractions and restaurants.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines have discounts for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available on booking pages. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before reserving your home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your vacation family.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.

  • Add the host's contact info to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.

  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on great reviews to stimulate new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
