Tips to get the best rental experience:

Get the best rental value:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Crystal Coast area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
  • Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines have discounts for nearby shops and restaurants.

Choosing the perfect vacation rental in Atlantic Beach:

  • Start by choosing potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Ocean Front Dunescape Villas Condo, 3 Bedroom, one king, two queen beds has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to work out what is right for your group.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Request information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental

Tips for your stay:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many difficulties.
  • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
  • Record any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to inspire new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
