Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is on the beach. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum.   • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
