Located feet away from the Intracoastal Waterway. Bring your boat; you have complimentary access to our private ramp with "no" wait time and room to park your car, boat/trailer, or 2 cars if you don't have a boat. Don't have a boat? Fish off our fishing pier and clean your fish at the end of the dock, or sit and relax and watch the yachts and dolphins going by daily. We are a pet-friendly Vacation Rental, and there is a pet fee. There is a King-sized bed in the primary bedroom, bunk beds in the private area, and a loft with a futon. There is a full bath, kitchen, and the living room. Rustic on the outside, Frenchy on the inside. The 10ft deep shaded porch is a great place to gather in the afternoon and evening. We offer self-check-in. But please stop by the office to sign in and pick up literature to make your stay more fun. We are more than happy to help you. Janet is a local and is our concierge and can help guide you to the locations you are interested in and restaurant choices.

About the Area

Beaufort is home to this cabin. Bock Marine and Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Arts and Things Gallery and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting.

  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in Beaufort. To find the best vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Crystal Coast restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
