Welcome to your vacation beach hideaway in the private Spinnaker’s Reach neighborhood! The neighborhood includes private beach access, a community pool (across from the beach access), as well as community access to Bogue Sound in neighboring Spinnaker’s Landing. Our home is a third row oceanside duplex with a cavernous reverse floor plan that sleeps 11 in 5 bedrooms. The second-floor master suite includes a king bed, private deck access, and a soaking tub with separate shower in the bathroom. Two additional second floor bedrooms include queen beds and share a hall bath. The third-floor guest room also offers a queen bed and a wardrobe in lieu of a closet. On the first floor, you’ll find bunk room that includes a full-twin bunk as well as a foosball game. The roomy third floor is an open floor plan, including the family room, a brightly lit and well-supplied kitchen that includes a granite countertop and a dishwasher (of course…who wants to wash dishes on vacation?), plus access to the top-level deck. We provide linen service for your stay included in your rate, including completely made beds; two bath towels per person, plus hand towels and wash cloths; bathmats for all bathrooms; and two kitchen towels. The cost of linens, towels, plus standard departure cleaning, are all supplied in the weekly rate: there's no additional charge for any of these. Our amenities include Wi-Fi connectivity, a gas grille, dumbwaiter, full-size hot tub, hot/cold outdoor shower, full-size washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, as well Roku or Intelligent TVs in 3 bedrooms. The family room includes a huge Intelligent TV and a DVR player, along with an assortment of games and puzzles for rainy days. We also provide a golf cart for your convenience. Please follow posted rules for golf cart use; golf carts are only for neighborhood use, they aren’t allowed on Coast Guard Road. We keep spices, dish soap, and other amenities for your use, but these may vary as other guests use them; we make a day trip once or twice a month to restock as needed. We also have beach toys and also beach chairs (only 3 right now) available for you use; these get used hard at the beach, so what's available may vary, and likewise, we make every effort to update on our day trip visits.We welcome your dogs, up to 2 allowed with a $150 non-returnable fee per pet. Emerald Isle accepts dogs on the beach, though they must be on a leash (owner, too!). You’ll find pickup bags at the beach access so you can clean up after your pet and keep our beach clean. Please note that this is a non-smoking property.We’ve owned and rented this home since 2013. If you’re familiar with our home, you’ll notice multiple improvements for this season. We have new decks (Trex), we refreshed the 3rd floor bedroom with an adjustable bed and room darkening curtains, refreshed the primary-master bathroom, replaced TVs in the master-primary bedroom and first floor bedroom, re-upholstered our overstuffed “Monkey Chair” and couch cushions, replaced numerous pillows (every bed has shams as well as cased pillows), and in the kitchen updated our coffee pot with a single unit that brews both K-Cups and a regular pot, along with continuing to refresh pots and pans.

My wife and I invite you to view our home and hopefully make it your summer stay. Our home is in fantastic location, set back from the street and surrounded by mature trees giving a private feel, but only a short walk to the beach. The land mass here is not very wide, only 5 rows of homes from the beach to the main road and 1 row to the sound. That means there is no rush to get to the beach, sleep in; plenty time to find a great spot. The beach is sizable and most days the water has a glistening emerald glow. Also, a new beach access was constructed in 2017 and located close to the home. Our home features a cavernous and open reverse floor plan with ceilings vaulted eleven feet. New for this year is all three bathrooms have been upgraded with vanities, counter tops, water fixtures, led lighting and toilets. The master bath also has a new enlarged shower. The living room has new reclining couches and the 1st floor entry has all new led lighting fixtures. Lastly the top deck is now finished with composite railing and decking. The top deck is now bare feet friendly and just a great spot to hang out The kitchen is roomy and completely supplied with everything needed to whip up a great meal, while watching the waves. There is seating for six at the kitchen peninsula. The main feature of the dining area is a handmade reclaimed wood table, that seats six comfortably and still have a nice view of the ocean.. After dinner hit the couches, relax and watch some TV. This year we replaced all the tv's with Samsung Intelligent TVs. They all have HULU loaded and now you have the ability to watch your favorite steaming service. Better yet, grab a drink and step out onto the deck and just relax, watch the waves and listen to that ocean. Also on this level are a half bath and a huge pantry. The 3 bedrooms are located on the first floor. We have a master with a king size bed, memory foam bed, attached bath, huge closet and a wall mounted 55 inch flat screen TV . This room has access to the first floor deck. Second bedroom features a queen size bed ,memory foam bed, sizable closet and a new wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV. This room also has access to the first floor deck. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds, a modest closet and a new wall mounted 32 inch flat screen TV. All the bedrooms feature ceiling fans. The main entry is on the ground level. As you enter the home you come into a laundry area/catch all, great place to drop all the beach gear. One flight up and you're on the bedroom level. Outside we have a enormous private freshly constructed outdoor shower with hot/cold water with Trex decking next to a nice seating area under the home. Also, we have a large picnic table and a new gas grille, great for a fast outdoor lunch. Anyone making a trip to the beach knows how valuable that packing space in the car is, so we have beach chairs and umbrellas for you to use. We have plenty of parking and all the exterior lighting is dusk to dawn, making it safer coming and going at nighttime. We are located roughly 3 miles from the center of town, close enough to bicycle and discover. We are renting Sunday to Sunday. This year we added towels and linens into the booking fee, if you don't need them, let us know and they will be removed before you book.
