Welcome to "Finest Life". See our 100+ five star reviews on Vacation Rental By Owner over 10 years. Most of our bookings are return guests - that tells you everything you need to know. This is a very clean, well maintained and entirely furnished OCEAN FRONT home - not a condo - in striking Emerald Isle, NC. It has a full-on ocean view from the deck, 2 bedrooms and living room, not partial vistas and not over the street or rooftops. It is half of a duplex. The other side of the duplex is not a rental; it is someone's rarely used second home, so you will not have any crazy or noisy neighbors, events or big groups next door. The kitchen was completely modernized in early 2023; see new photos! You''re likely to see dolphins frolicking in the ocean. Unlike staying in a condo complex, you'll have privacy and no worries about noise, sharing the deck or annoying neighbors. No dogs. Ideal for families with kids. The home is close to a lifeguard station on the beach. The lifeguards are on duty every day from April until September.
There is a gentle set of stairs from deck to beach, not the 50 or 60 steps to get to the homes that sit high up on the dunes. The home has everything you'll need and the kitchen is completely equipped (even spare appliances such as blender, coffee maker & toaster). There is a Kuerig coffee machine with pot and pod capability. We provide starter supplies upon your arrival (soap, paper towels, t.p.). ALL of the linens in the home is premium gel memory foam 12" beds and new frames that are less than 3 years old. (Oh, so comfortable!) All beds have thick zippered bed-sacks too. Living room couch and appreciate-seat were new in 2022. New king bed 2022 as well.
This home is an elegant value and has everything you'll need for a restful anxiety-complimentary vacation at the beach. The manager is local and the owner is always available. An all-new bigger deck is just a few years old. Note the constructed-in benches on the deck near the ocean. Both bathrooms were remodeled in early 2023 as well. Tub and shower are alluring tile - not cheap fibreglass! All the doors were freshly replaced. The street side windows were all replaced in 2022. As you can see from all of our photos, we strive to make this a cozy and elegantly 'beachy' home. Among the features of this property are Spectrum cable, STRONG wireless internet (to the deck +), new central air unit (2021), ceiling fans in every room, 4 flat-screen HD-TV's (55" in living room and 40" in 3 bedrooms), and bespoke hand-painted tropical murals in each bedroom. It's NOT cheap thin, uncomfortable rattan / boxy / IKEA furnishings, nor is it used furnishings from Grandma's home. We want you to relax and be comfortable! There are 2 ocean-front master bedrooms (1 K & 1 Q) and 2 bedrooms street side (partial Sound view) with doubles and singles. There are 2 full tiled baths (1 tub/shower main floor and 1 shower only on the upper floor) and a phenomenal outdoor enclosed over-sized locking private shower with hot and cold water and a dressing area. (The outside shower is particularly great for kids or a fast exhilarating rinse after coming off the beach.) The deck has a convenient hose for sandy feet.

Recent (within the past few years) upgrades include complete new kitchen (early 2023), new beds, new laminate floor throughout the main level, bigger deck, refreshed bathrooms, new living room furnishings, new TV's, newer roof, all new interior doors, windows, digital entrance lock, and many smaller changes as well. The a/c unit was replaced in 2021. The driveway and landscaping were upgraded in 2021. The electrical panel and service for the home was replaced in 2021. We are constantly upgrading! There are hurricane shutters on all the windows, including handsome coral color Bahama type shutters on the street side windows.

There are lifeguards on the beach within sight just a short walk away (April - Sept.). This home is ON THE BEACH with the same ocean, vistas, and ease of access as the mansions that cost 3 or 4 times as much. Wouldn't it be nice not to have to drag all your stuff to the beach from a block or more away? There is a giant difference between OCEAN-FRONT and 1 or 2 or 3 homes in from the beach. No carts or wagons needed here! No going down the block to a public access entrance. Need a drink or suntan lotion while you're at the beach? Just walk up onto the deck and get it! Maybe leave additional beverages or your kids's toys on the deck walkway for instant access. We provide beach chairs, beach umbrella, toys, as well as beach games.
