503 West Sound of the Sea is a 1 Bedroom 1 Bath Oceanfront condo that features awesome vistas of the pristine ocean. Appreciate the handsome ocean vistas from the Living Area with access to the covered Oceanfront deck with deck furnishings.

The Living Area has a TV with basic cable, and a Sleeper Couch couch that turns into a full sized bed. The Kitchen/Bar Area is entirely equipped with a dishwasher, microwave Fridge with Attached Ice Maker, and a Keurig Coffee Maker for your convenience.

The Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed, and TV with basic cable.

Sound of the Sea is an oceanfront condominium complex within walking distance to everything! Two outdoor swimming pools (closed off-season), clubhouse & tennis courts. Walk to the beach, eateries, shopping and more. Gated community. Elevators from ground level. Sorry, no family pets. Wireless Internet Access Included!

Reminder: The modest complex pool will reopen in the spring for guest use!

Please Note: Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this condo is by the ocean. Emerald Forest Golf and Salty Pirate Water Park are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Emerald Isle Adventures and The Sweet Spot are also worth visiting.

Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
