Strategies to get the very best Crystal Coast vacation rental experience:

When to visit Atlantic Beach & When to reserve a Crystal Coast rental home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Atlantic Beach. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Many management companies supply Crystal Coast area visitors guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose and book the perfect Crystal Coast rental home:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Pet-friendly, Centrally Located, 3 Blocks to Beach! Unit 205 has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is usually available online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what is right for your vacation group.
  • Is your family looking for special amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Store the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Document any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
