We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college home events, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

** TWO OPTIONS FOR DAMAGE PROTECTION **
1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $1,000 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

About the Area

Located in Pine Knoll Shores, this condo is on the beach. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Beach Wheels Bike Rental and Coral Bay Shopping Center. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Finding the best rental value:

• The sooner your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is a great way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
• Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
• Find a copy of your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

• Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available online. Otherwise, email the property management company before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
• Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.
• Looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental.
• Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Have a fantastic stay:

• Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
• Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of difficulties.
• Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
• Make a record of any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if a dispute arises.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your life at home. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to stimulate new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
