Tips for getting the perfect Indian Beach rental experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To book the largest rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Crystal Coast attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many management companies supply Crystal Coast area travel guides which often include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and choose your prefectrental home:

  • First, have your group agree to trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. New Luxurious, Oceanfront Condo - Handicap Friendly. has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before reserving the property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what configuration is right for your group.
  • Is your family looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make certain damages are not attributed to your stay, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a terrific time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
