Welcome to the Flippin' Reward. This is our families personal beach home which we hope will feel like home to you as well! We have the home outfitted with everything you should need... JUST BRING CLOTHES & BATHING SUITS. We are located in the ideal location! We are steps away from the Sound and the public boat access ( there is a great park for the kids attached to the boat access). We are a 3 min. walk to the beach. PLUS we have spent the beginning of the Summer putting in our new pool! Ideal for a family pool day. The home is about a mile away from the hussel and bussel of town so you can appreciate the peaceful but close enough to run to the store if you need anything. (or have it delivered. Our Instacart shoppers are amazing on the island) We are a kid friendly home as we have 3 modest kids that adore this home as well. All of the bathrooms are newly refreshed. We hope you treat and appreciate this home as much as our family has!

Please note that our home is on a steep hill. Anyone with mobility problems please reach out so we can determine if our home is a good fit for you.

This vacation home is located in Emerald Isle. Croatan National Forest and Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Emerald Isle Adventures and The Sweet Spot. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Forest Golf are also worth visiting.

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Crystal Coast area. To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.

If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
