Salt Life, One Level Single Family Home. Bed Configuration: 3 Queens
Atlantic Beach is one of those rare places that is as unspoiled as it is handsome. Though the community and its surroundings have grown in recent years, the beaches remain pristine, and the ocean and surrounding waterways are still shining like the area’s namesake— the Crystal Coast. It is unchanged in other ways, too. No high-rise buildings have taken over the skyline; the vibe remains simple and pure. Not to mention, the people are delightfully genuine!
Spending time here is a joy, as is this property on West Terminal Blvd. Only a two-block walk to the ocean, you can start your days off with a calming walk through the surf looking for seashells or building sandcastles and wind down come evening time resting in the sand or admiring the blaze of sunset over the waves. Whatever the age of you, your family, friends or guests, no one will tire of the limitless activities and joy to be found at “the beach!”
Trips out for ice cream, drinks or fine dining are all options, as are meals cooked “at home” in this sweet and comfortable abode. At nearly 1200 square feet, there’s plenty of space with three bedrooms, all with queen beds and one en-suite bath, and both bathrooms boast walk-in showers. Most importantly, there is room for all to come and stay at the coast!
Spend your vacation celebrating with peaceful time alone, events, or cookouts outdoors, no matter the season. This home is entirely equipped with patio furnishings, a charcoal grille, and even a heater for those chilly nights in the winter and fall. Bring your dog (or cat!) with you on this trip and let him run around the big backyard. There is no reason why your pet should miss out on all the fun!
There is tons to do close by, including the NC Aquarium, Fort Macon and plenty of boat trips to choose from and go for a cruise. Atlantic Beach has the best of both worlds — it has all the modest-town appeal this area is known for, the sweet southern hospitality, too, as well as activities to make all in the group happy! From the young to the old, the energetic to the easygoing, there’s something for everybody at Salt Life!

Tricks and tips to get the perfect rental home experience:

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Summertime is high season in the Crystal Coast area. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Narrow your Search:

  • Select vacation week and spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Salt Life- Oceanside Home in Atlantic Beach, NC has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Crystal Coast rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available online. If they are not listed, call the property management company before reserving the rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what configuration is suitable for your trip.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges may be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's an individual Crystal Coast attraction you crave, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
