Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
• Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. • At departure, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.

If your property and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
