Downtown Blue Manor is a beautiful, historic home, tucked away on a relaxing street in the heart of downtown just steps away from New Bern’s rich history, vibrant dining, nightlife, and stores! As one of the few full-sized homes really located in this prime location, it offers a rare blend of spaciousness, comfort, and convenience. Whether you’re here to discover New Bern or simply here to relax and relax, you’ll be ideally positioned to make the most of your stay.

Inside, you’ll find multiple comfortable living rooms to relax in, making the home ideal for families or groups. Outside, take a seat on the inviting front porch to sip your morning coffee, early evening glass of wine, or spend an afternoon calming in the private backyard. Some History
This Colonial Revival home (the Josephine Disosway Duplex) was originally constructed around 1904 as a hotel/home and converted to its present form around 1920 and then stayed in the Disosway family until the 1970's.

When to visit New Bern & When to reserve a Crystal Coast rental home:

  • Summertime is high season in New Bern. To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
