With beach access points just a quarter-mile around the corner in either direction, this multi-story condo is a excellent home base for taking in the beauty of Atlantic Beach. Spend your days surfing, beachcombing, and basking in the fragrant ocean breeze on three levels of deck space.

This condo sits one block back from the ocean on the east side of downtown. It's a prime location that gives you painless access to dining and shopping in the heart of town (one mile west) and striking Fort Macon State Park (one mile east) with its pre-Civil War fort and alluring opportunities for swimming and birding. A sandy path across the way provides a shortcut to the beach through the dunes.

There's a deck for every occasion here, whether you're savoring your morning coffee off the top-floor primary bedroom, barbecuing on the ground-floor patio, or sipping drinks in the shade on the main level.

Inside, the home is full of coastal character, beginning with the bright, breezy, and open living space on the main floor. Appreciate a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area, and a living room with a TV for family movie nights. More entertainment awaits in the converted garage downstairs, where you'll find a Ping-Pong table and cornhole to set up outside. A washer/dryer, central air, and complimentary WiFi are included for your comfort as well.

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is by the sea. Coral Bay Shopping Center and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail and Rachel Carson Reserve. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum are also worth visiting.

Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
