Welcome to “A Place At The Beach III”, Atlantic Beach’s premier vacation resort! In addition to the handsome, wide, white sand beach and delightful vistas, savor many amenities (outlined below) supplied at no additional charge at this family-friendly complex.
'Lorna Dune' is a third floor 2 BR/2 BA unit with ocean and sound vistas from the deck. The master bedroom features a queen bed, a private bathroom and private entrance to the balcony. The second (front) bedroom has huge, sturdy bunk beds (full over queen with stairs instead of a ladder). Six can sleep comfortably in this unit.

A completely-equipped kitchen has a full-size washer and dryer, new cabinets and quartz countertops. The former wet bar in the living area is now a workstation with new cabinet, quartz countertop and electrical outlets with USB ports. Free wireless broadband internet is supplied.

A Place At The Beach III offers more amenities than any other resort on the Crystal Coast. The oceanfront location of the resort accepts immediate access to the beach without crossing any streets. The enormous outdoor pool offers a wade-in area for toddlers as well as the only giant water slide in Atlantic Beach. A central courtyard also features an refreshed kid's playground and a sizable grassy area as well as outdoor charcoal grilles. An indoor pool with hot tub and a deck with gas grilles are only a few steps from this unit. The resort also includes lighted tennis courts, cornhole, shuffleboard, 9-hole mini-golf course, ping-pong table (all necessary sports equipment included), and an outdoor hot tub. An on-site store offers beach bicycles and movies for rent, as well as convenience items. Knowledgeable resort staff are on the premises to help with any questions you may have.

The surrounding area offers tons of additional attractions. Morehead City and Beaufort are a short drive away, and pretty, historic Fort Macon State Park is within walking distance. • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
• Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
• Did your family have a great vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise.
