Welcome to Pirate's Hideaway! Located in handsome Pine Knoll Shores, Beachwalk is right across the street from the Aquarium and the Roosevelt Natural area. Pirate's Hideaway is located on the first floor (no stairs to climb) making it a breeze to unload and easier to access for our more seasoned guests. As you enter, you will be drawn to the impressive vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. The outdoor space spans the entire width of the unit, accepting access from the living room as well as a private entrance to the master bedroom. You will savor oceanfront vistas and hear the waves crashing on the shore from your cavernous private deck or from the beach inspired open-concept living room and kitchen. From the deck take a very short walk (30 paces Matey!) along a wooden walkway to the beach. The pool is located next to the unit so you can watch your kids play and call them in for dinner without ever leaving your back deck.

After you gather for beverages at the gazebo watching the sunset, relax in the oceanfront king master suite complete with it's own adjoining bathroom (modernized 2022) or in one of the other two bedrooms both with their own bathrooms (both freshly tiled and one with a new tub 2021). The condo also features a sleeper couch ensuring everybody has sufficient space to spread out and accommodates 8 people comfortably.

The unit is completely outfitted to ensure your comfort and reduce your need to over pack. Items include traditional coffee maker, Keurig, blender, 4 slice toaster, cookware, etc. There is also a bar area with drink refrigerator, a full size washer and dryer and deck furnishings. Linens are included with your rental (sheets and towels) as well as a pack-n-play, booster seat, games and puzzles. We also have a few beach chairs, umbrella, and floats for your convenience. So all you have to bring is your bathing suit!

• In the Crystal Coast area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
• Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. • Respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
• At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
• Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on great ratings to propel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
