Cozy, private, redecorated guest bungalow just three blocks from Front Street! The former studio footprint of the bungalow was expanded in 2024 to add a twin-bedded bedroom! Clean and modern with a kitchenette and a huge bathroom with shower. The bungalow sleeps two in twin beds under a vaulted ceiling. The kitchenette contains a sink, microwave, under-counter refrigerator, K-cup coffee maker and toaster oven. The home has its own porch so you can sit in the rockers and appreciate the alluring, peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from all the stores and eateries on the waterfront. Located behind the owner's home. For the comfort of our guests, this is a stringently nonsmoking property. No family pets allowed.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is in the city center and on the waterfront. Arts and Things Gallery and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Rachel Carson Reserve and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting. With scuba diving, sailing, and fishing nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

When to book & When to go:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses.
