***Reviews from Guests***

Julie:
"This was a ideal home. Great location. Walking distance to the beach. Totally supplied with so many extras from toiletries, and family games, to cleaning supplies. The beds were so comfortable. Clean. And when we needed to communicate with the host, he was readily available for us every time. The photos in the listing are exactly what you get. Recommend reservations, at “Amos Mosquito” right down the street for a meal. And the restaurant, “Southern Salt” was another favorite we discovered. Wonderful stay. Would recommend."

Anna:
"The home was just as described! Very well-supplied, clean, great location! Michael was a great communicator. And we literally had no issues! I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Atlantic Beach! Sensational, clean, ideal for our family gathering!"

Brittany:
"Our stay at this beach home was amazing! We adored the location, furnishings, and amenities. The home was outfitted with everything we needed, from beach toys and chairs to a high chair, bug spray, kitchen essentials, and everything in between. Michael was fabulous at communicating with us, as well!"

Jennifer:
"Our family loves Atlantic Beach. We had been here before and wanted to bring more family down to share the excellent experience. We needed a home big enough and comfortable for 10 people. The location was ideal. The beds were cozy. Porches for all to enjoy with great vistas. Well outfitted for our needs. And Michael was sure to check in with us to make sure everything was up to our expectations. Great find!"

Our top Atlantic Beach rental home booking tips:

Money saving strategies:

  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Many management companies supply Crystal Coast area travel guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose your vacation week and spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Not Your Typical Beach Rental Fully Stocked House has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available on booking websites. If not, call the host before booking the vacation home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about your furry family members before booking.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.

Advice for your stay:

  • Add the host's contact info to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • At Check-in, note any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to inspire more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
