Tips to get the best rental experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Crystal Coast area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides contain coupons for local tours and attractions.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfectvacation home:

  • First and foremost, have your family choose the best dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Queen Suite-Unit 203 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available online. Otherwise, contact the property manager before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .

Some things to know before you go:

  • Add the owner's contact info to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • To ensure that damages are not linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. Get in touch with the rental manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on good ratings to propel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
