Rental home tips:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • Summer is high season in Atlantic Beach. Booking in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Crystal Coast vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Crystal Coast visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides have offers and deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Planning, selecting, and booking the right Crystal Coast vacation home:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Seaside Villas, 3 story, elevator, garage, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bath. Sleeps 8-10 has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before you book your rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is right for your family.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Request information on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your . Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Contact the rental manager right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many issues.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
  • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a excellent time? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
