Savor specialty stores, eateries, Maritime Museum, the Beaufort Board walk as well as handsome expansive vistas of the southern outer banks all are a two block walk from the bungalow.
Beaufort has been named the 'Coolest, Friendliest Modest Town ' in the USA and its a vacation destination by visitors from all over country.
Anchors Aweigh is decorated in a "coastal theme" that is both roomy and comfortable. Accommodations include living room area and a downstairs bedroom, completely outfitted kitchen has stove, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and dining area that seats 9. An upstairs loft comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a separate area that has a trundle with two twin beds (Note bungalow has one bathroom that is located on first floor). A second shower/bath facility is located in the back yard next to the shed. Wi-Fi services , 2 TV's and DVD included. A private fenced covered patio area has outdoor benches (that convert to a picnic table), gas grille. and an outdoor sink for fish cleaning. The bungalow is pet friendly for a modest pet fee. Backyard shed has washer/ dryer / folding table. Adult and youth bicycles are available for your use. There is ample onsite parking for 2 cars and/or trailered boat.
Owners operate a 'seafood' business so fresh seasonal shellfish is readily available. There are also many close by attractions which are just a short drive away which include Atlantic Beach, Fort Macon, NC State Aquarium, water park , public fishing pier, boat ramps, plus so much more make this a "must do' for beach lovers and family visitors.

Located in Beaufort, this vacation home is in the city center and by the sea. Morehead City Yacht Basin and Town Creek Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Morehead Plaza Shopping Center and Coral Bay Shopping Center. North Carolina Maritime Museum and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are also worth visiting.
