Atlantic Beach rental home booking tips:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • Book your vacation in Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides have offers and deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Finding the perfect rental in the Crystal Coast area:

  • Start by selecting vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Oceanside Condo in Atlantic Beach, NC (Boardwalk Shores C) has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible online. If not, email or call the property management company before booking the property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Visiting for a single event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to propel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
